Our mission, first and foremost, is to create strong headshots that look like you and reflect the character(s) that will get you cast. We want photos that sparkle straight from the camera, simply because they are alive with your essence.

More About Our Shooting Philosophy:

Our collaborative mindset sets us apart from much of the competition. We — Christina and Stephanie — approach all headshot and professional portrait sessions in this way. Your session with us should feel more akin to an ensemble working together than you being put under a spotlight.

We prefer to let your session unfold organically. (No cookie-cutter approaches here!) If you need to take a break — to hydrate, eat a quick snack, check your phone — please do. We allow plenty of time between our headshot sessions so you won’t feel rushed.

We’re comfortable providing direction and feedback, but we’re also happy to let you move into the positions and poses that come naturally to you, even if that means the occasional hilarious outtake shot. Christina shoots her best when you incorporate your own natural movements into the shooting process.

We’re also versatile. Some studios only do studio shots (i.e., you against a backdrop with studio lighting) while other photographers are only set up for natural light. In our studio, we can do both, and we do them well. We have a keen understanding of how light works and what environments will make you jump off the page. On most days, there is abundant natural light in and around our West Hollywood studio, but for those clients who are game, we may even migrate to locations in the neighborhood to take advantage of different environments that might help your look. If you feel most at home in The Great Indoors, no problem. (We’ll set up our studio lights, grab the camera… and you provide the action.)
